France
The outlook is positive thanks to good use being made of the increased capacity
we have in our Chateauroux plant to produce further cylinder heads and wheels.
United Kingdom
We have acquired a new production site in Northern Ireland called Calcast
which produces the V6 cylinder head for Ford. This unit will be transformed
into a high performance site as a result of adopting Montupet’s technology
and installing state of the art tooling.
Belfast
At our main site in Northern Ireland, 3 new cylinder head products have been
launched; Puma for Ford, D4 for Renault and DW10 for PSA.
Montiac
Our Mexican plant is currently ramping up and will be at full capacity by
the end of 2001. The plant produces cylinder heads for Ford.
Spain
The factory in Alumalsa is dedicated to producing a wider range of smaller
volume parts which are fully machined. It’s growth is steady and consistent.
Canada
The year 2000 saw a decrease in demand for the GM cylinder head.
