External growth
From the 31st December 2009 the MONTUPET Group has acquired, the full activity of the " FONDERIE DU POITOU ALUMINIUM", based in Ingrandes in the French Vienne department. (Turnover € 67 Million, Manning: 520 people. This takeover has received full agreement from the customers RENAULT and PEUGEOT, and shows their confidence in a strengthened Group.

DEVELOPMENT :
The orders for cylinder heads for future engines has created a strong activity in the areas of conception, development and start up, for the centre of excellence in Laigneville. These engines are part of the new generation that respond to the specific requirements for energy and environmental legislation in the west.

MANAGEMENT :

Montupet France is equipping itself with a new Management tool, an ERP system (Enterprise Resources Planning) from the manufacturer SAGE. Started up in January 2010 it improves the safety, and the productivity of information flow in the company, as well as that between the company and its partners.
